Our Story

A table that begins with coffee.

Before the food arrives, the aromatics do — cardamom, saffron and a pot of fresh Arabic coffee poured the moment you sit down.

Across the Arabian Peninsula, a great meal is never rushed. Rice is layered with whole spices and meat is left to surrender slowly to gentle heat, until it pulls apart at the touch of a fork. That patience is the whole point — and it’s exactly how we cook at Mandi Afandi.
