Our Story

Patience, served fast.

Real mandi can’t be rushed — so we don’t. We just do all the waiting before you arrive.

Every morning our kitchens start the slow work: meat rubbed in traditional mandi spice, basmati layered with whole cardamom and saffron beneath it, and hours of gentle steam-roasting until every grain has caught the drippings and the meat surrenders at the touch of a fork.

Then comes the part we’re proudest of — you walk in, you order, and a feast that took all day lands on your table in minutes. That’s the promise on our walls: slow-cooked food, served fast.

Authentic recipes, served the traditional way since day one.
The Welcome

A table that begins with coffee.

Before the food arrives, the aromatics do — cardamom, saffron and a pot of fresh Arabic coffee poured the moment you sit down.

Across the Arabian Peninsula, that’s how every majlis has greeted its guests for centuries: a small cup, poured often, that says stay a while. From the smoky char of madhbi to the buried, oven-steamed tenderness of madfoon, every dish that follows is a piece of that same hospitality — we simply bring it closer to home.

The Craft

Four traditions, one Arabian table

Each of our signature dishes is defined by its method — how the meat meets the heat. Here is what makes each one unforgettable.

Hadhramaut · Yemen

MandiSteam-roasted

Our signature. Chicken or lamb soaked in traditional mandi spices and slowly steam-roasted over fragrant basmati until impossibly tender.

Arabian Peninsula

MadhbiLava-stone grilled

Marinated chicken grilled directly on natural lava stone until the edges turn smoky and charred — deep, fire-kissed flavour in every bite.

Emirati Tradition

MadfoonBuried & oven-steamed

An Emirati specialty, traditionally ‘buried’ and slow-cooked in an underground oven so the meat steams in its own spiced juices.

South Arabia

HaneedhLow & slow lamb

Spice-wrapped lamb grilled over low heat until it falls off the bone — the soulful, aromatic flavour of South Arabia.

The lamb mandi falls apart before your fork even gets there. Rice this fragrant takes you straight to the Peninsula.

They greeted us with coffee before we even ordered. The family platter fed all of us with room to spare. Real hospitality.

The madhbi has this smoky char you just can’t fake. Easily my go-to for authentic Arabian food in the GTA.
